[Rhodes22-list] Life Imitates Art (Was this the Griswold family?)

Herb,

Early in my career I would fly anything, anywhere, for peanuts! No one
wanted to fly dead bodies because coffins don't fit in little airplanes -
you strap the dead guy/gal to a cot and press on. They make strange noises
from the pressure changes and move as well. I found wearing a headset and
not looking back the perfect solution. Fast forward to 1979, I was managing
a small FBO in Little Rock and a dude flies in from Houston with a stiff and
wants to know where he can unload him. I explain he has to wait for the
funeral home and he starts unloading by himself. I helped move the body to
a storage hangar and when the funeral home shows, the hearse has the family
onboard. I pull the driver off to the side and explain the situation while
one of my employees keeps the family occupied. We got the stiff loaded
without the family knowing he'd been on a hangar floor for the last hour.
