Hi Ronald:

Thank you, finally somone who is responsive to my requests.  Yes, I do 
understand that any heavy deep keeled vessel is designed for extended 
passagemaking.  However, I plan to use it to get to the many islands around 
Panama (San Blas) and explore the coastal regions not far from shore. 
Having said that, one must consider what happens when the unexpected occurs, 
as it always does.  Will the boat get it's crew to safety while sailing in 
heavy weather.
