Yeah, no kidding.  Every other year my hometown newspaper runs a photo of my
Dad sitting on an elm stump surrounded by hundreds of morels.  My brother
took the picture.  I've tried the "how many morel seasons do you have left?"
with my Dad with no luck.  The, "what the heck, you don't live there
anymore" line with my brother gets answered with, "neither do you".

Next season I may put a GPS tracking device on my dads truck.  You know,
just in case he gets lost in the woods.
