Dan:

Welcome to the Rhodes List...

Did you see my post to the list yesterday:

http://www.rhodes22.org/pipermail/rhodes22-list/2008-June/051123.html

Use that URL to take you to that post. It has the Frapper web site. See
Rhodes owners who are not shy around North America.

Keep in mind that there are many others who lurk on this forum or who just
are not social.

May I suggest that you contact two Rhodies a few hours drive from you in New
Hampshire. See Frapper for location and detail. Ron Singerman might be
coaxed into a demo sail on a mountain lake. And the roads are not bad from
your location to his. He has just taken delivery of his boat, so you could
see what a new recycle looks like and get a sail to boot.

On the other hand, while it is a long ride to Edenton, it is an experience
worth the effort. Simply ask those who have done it. Why wait till fall?
Need a place to stay? Stan has an arrangement called the Spitzer Hilton,
designed with you in mind.

Edenton is a small North Carolina coastal town off the well main roads of
tourist. Why not take the wife for a long weekend visit and rent a Rhodes
to try it out. If you check reports for the last few months, you will see
that several others have recently done just that.

Not familiar with Edenton, North Carolina? Look here:

Stan lives in Hertford:

And accross the sound is Columbia:

And if you really want a demonstration of the Rhodes 22, contact Captain
Rummy who sails Lake Hartwell. For a small enticement he would be happy to
show you lake sailing. Just bring him a bottle of Mount Gay Rum. See:
