Alan, 
just a suggestion,
if go to where you subscribe you can opt not to recieve e-mails from the
rhodes list but you can still send.
If you want to see what's being discussed you can go to www.nabble.com to
the Rhodes 22 forum. You can even search archives from there. That's easier
than deleating and does the same as blocking.
