Joe,

Keep us informed about your Rhodes (?) project. This forum always enjoys a
progress report on project boats. I encourage you to learn how to use the
archives and in particular look to the work done by a now famous and
published sailboat rebuilder, Lou Rosenberg of Brooklyn, New York.

You stated that you are "currently restoring his 71 Rhodes, "Delilah". Is
this a Rhodes 22 or a Sailmaster 22? Only one Stanley Spitzer can explain
the difference. However, there once was a Sailmaster 22 about the year of
your boat for sale on eBay. One Commodore Spitzer owned up to involvement,
hum.

Now a political reply: Joe said, "it might also be said one man taking care
of another is the Christian thing to do and all I hear on the airwaves is
how much of a Christian nation this is." Please point out to me the words
of the United States Constitution that direct the government to do that.
Where does it say steal from all to benefit a special class. You are
putting religious objectives for the government to accomplish.

Since you brought up the religious aspect of this question, are you familiar
with: "VII. Thou shalt not steal, Exodus 20:1-17?" Where is the religious
directive to steal from others to provide for charitable purposes using the
coercive power of a government?

And to whom was this religious command given? What religion was he? And
now look at the background of one of the most ardent supporters of this
socialist dogma on this forum. It is important to know history, where we
come from and how we got here, before advocating stealing a future from our
progeny.
