[Rhodes22-list] Furler Question

Mary Lou, I must have the GBI furler.  My problem is that the drum used to always ride above the (i believe it is called the tang fitting) on the headstay (you know the stainless fitting that the wire is swaged into.  When trying to release the headstay last week I applied downward pressure on the drum to take out the pin from the stem fitting.  Well for the first time in 7 years of doing this the drum went pop and ended up resting on the stem fitting.  It still furls ok but I want to fix it the way it should be.  Does anyone know how the drum is held in position vertically?  Thanks in advance for any help.
