Joe
Ron and I did Boca Ciega a few weeks ago after setting up his boat. Excellent choice, as is Panama City. I plan to sail PC this Summer if you get down this way. Both have excellent beaches, much to do in addition to sailing and some nice reasonable cruising destinations to take advantage of. I noticed in a recent news release that three Florida beaches were voted into the top 20 world beaches, although not sure why the Miracle Strip (panhandle) beaches were not mentioned. I am not as keen on the Atlantic Coast venues, even though the Golden Isles are a popular destination. I am not familiar with the NC area at all, although I'm sure excellent.
