[Rhodes22-list] Political - Palin, Obama

Robert,

The election results are in plain view. I would think this is the last word!
(for now)

The right had the deck stacked 8 years ago and did little to move this
country forward. It has cost them (us!) dearly. Unless both sides work
together it will be just more of the same. If the right brings back Palin
for Pres in 2012 I would be amazed and amused! Is that the opposite of Shock
and Awe? :-)

We need to keep in mind that the Iraq Government is moving toward a time
table for withdrawal. Of course once we leave anything can happen. This is
true a year from now....or 10 years from now. Based on the history of the
area I don't think we will be able to control what happens after we leave.
The Kurds, Shias, and Sunnis have been at it for centuries. It really is up
to Iraq.

My real concern has always been Pakistan and India. We arm both coutries.
They both have nuke capabilties and they hate each other. I always felt this
area would be a source of World War involving nucleur arms.

Fair Winds,

Wally
