[Rhodes22-list] Outboard Stalling

Michael T,

I gather from your response that you have also eliminated the tank vent. 
Please be aware the opening the vent, if clogged, is not the same as 
removing the filler cap.  If the tank is not vented, the engine will stall 
just as you have described.

Hose appears to be clear from your description and as long as it primes the 
engine (no leaks, otherwise) it is probably good to go.  There really is no 
need to disassemble the tank/hose assembly that I can think of if the hose 
is ok.

What year and model engine is it so that I may locate the proper diagram to 
show the fuel filter.
