[Rhodes22-list] Paul & Andrew: Political discussion is diluting the value ...NOT SO

Paul & Andrew,

How can off topic dilute the value when it keeps the list engaged until there is a sailing question?

Rummy hit the nail on the head. Newbies have the nerve to complain but contribute nothing to the content.

Got a question? ASK IT.

Don't have a question? Hang around & enjoy the chatter until a question pops up...There is a much higher level of discourse lately as everyone is trying to be civil...and it's working. (Didn't I just have to say this the other day????)

Didn't you notice all the conversation re: outboards lately???

Stick around, use the delete key (or not...there are some very interesting points of view that can inspire one top think (some, for only a moment..;^) but enliightening, none the less. And you'll get a much more interesting picture of the political process listening to Bill, Herb, Robert, Brad, and the NEW Ed, than you will from the talking heads on the TV. HD hasn't made them any more intelligent.

So kwitchurbelliachin, ask & ye shall receive, or sit back and hoist one w/the guys while the topics ebb & flow around 'da list.'

We can't change the angle of the wind....but we can adjust our sails.
