Mary Lou

Thanks. I just got used to it and love the location now so its not
a big deal to get around. I also cover the remote when not on the
boat to keep moisture away from all those pivot points.

Permanent. I didn't want to stress out the cables. As it is now I
have to take them off the engine when I lift up my Garelick mount to
get the bucket under the prop for flushing. I've most likely going
to have to get a cable set one size longer b/c they are forcing the
motor to turn prop wash to starboard even with the steering lock
screw tight. I set the motor slightly to starboard now with a rope
from the motor handle to the port side back stay cleat(unused). If I
DONT do this
the motor actually cavitates when I bring the rudder blade to port
because of the disturbed flow around the prop.

all the best
Lou
