[Rhodes22-list] Boom Vang, UPS, Whisker Pole

Caesar,

"I think being dead in the water, under the blazing sun is the most
frustrating aspect of sailing so far."

I couldn't agree more. When it happens, I usually motor to where I think
there's wind; or pretend like I'm a powerboater and explore areas where I
don't normally sail; or pull out the cockpit cushions and put up the bimini
and pull out the fishin' pole and start drinking beer and try to fit in with
all the other boaters around Kent Island. I also keep a book on board in
case I get tired of reading charts.

It's rare that I have to wait more than an hour for some wind to return.
