Watching "gaffe a minute" Biden has been lots of fun the last few
days, but the people who only get their news from the MSM don't get in
on laughs. Now on a more serious note, this was the Dems election to
lose, and they took a giant leap in that direction by picking "a
fellow traveler" (sorry Ben, if the shoe fits.....).  Now it is
McCain's to lose, and he's doing a damn good job. As you pointed out,
we conservatives never did like him, never did trust him, and with the
impending economic meltdown, he's not showing the kind of leadership I
would like to see.  This "rescue" bill or "bailout" or whatever you
want to call it is moving in a very dangerous direction.  If this
turns into a major social program, "I'm 'agin' it!"  McCain needs to
get off the campaign trail, show in DC, and give everyone some adult
supervision. Palin is doing just fine on her own - she only drew
60,000 in Florida on Sunday.  Unlike O'Fellow Traveler (Uhboma), she
didn't offer free beer or a Marxist rock band to get the crowd to
show.
