[Rhodes22-list] Hold on!

Nancy Pelosi's act was disgusting.

However, equally disgusting was this quote (it's not the quote that was
disgusting, but the attitude behind it, which is shared by just about
all of them):

Paul Ryan, from Wisconsin said "We're all worried about losing our jobs.
Most of us say, 'I want this thing to pass, but I want you to vote for
it --- not me.'"

So, what he's admitting for the group of them, and unfortunately it's
true, is that they are voting to protect their jobs, not voting for what
they believe is best for the country.

And, of course, Barney Franks is blaming the Republican saying "Because
somebody hurt their feelings, they decided to punish the country."

First of all, it's not a matter of "hurting their feelings", it's a
matter of false accusations. This was supposed to be a time of
non-partisan bickering. He needs to look to his speaker for the correction.

I'm also wondering what he has to say about the 40% from HIS side of the
isle that he couldn't get on board even when their feelings WEREN'T hurt.
