[Rhodes22-list] Hold on!

You're talking extremes on Pelosi's speech.

No, I DON'T think she should have "been able to persuade her party to
commit potential suicide in lock step."

What she SHOULD have been able to do, as Speaker of the House, is bring it to a vote without the partisan claptrap that she inserted. THAT'S what I meant when I spoke of her being the SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE.

I didn't hear President Bush or the House whip making speeches about how the Democrats got us into this mess before the vote was taken. Did I miss something there?

My complaint has nothing (directly) to do with Nancy's not getting the other 40% of her group on board, however, it DOES have something to do with her claiming it's all the other guys' fault, and she and hers are here to fix it, then not delivering it.

What holiday am I having to work though? (Which will be taxed, and given to this bunch of bozo's so they can take a few days off...)
