[Rhodes22-list] By way of introduction, Ahoy, and request for advice

Here are some pics and a graphic. The drawing is from the article on the
website about how to rehab your centerboard, trunk and cap. (don't worry,
Stan, I'll get a recycled Rhodes before I would attempt that on CEALA!)

The problem area, as I see it is where the double mini block (in the
drawing) for the mechanical advantage attaches and the bolts go thru the
hull.  There are 2 gaskets, one fiberglass and one rubber. The fiberglass
gasket appears sound, but the rubber gasket is deformed by the nuts and (too
small) washers. I'm going to get a new strip of rubber and a SS plate to go
over it. Then I will replace the washers on the nuts with larger one.  I'm
fairly sure this is the only leak. Thanks for you input.
