[Rhodes22-list] Cracks in Cement Ballast

Rummy,

I stand with you on this issue. The question to ask is at what time of the
year was the boat removed from the water and how long it had to dry out
before freezing weather sets in. If the centerboard trunk was wet when temps
go below 32* the problems start. On the repair side I don't care if you
knock a hole in the hull with a hammer, if the boat is out of the water
with time and patience you can fix almost anything. The limiting factors are
money, time, and desire.
