[Rhodes22-list] Outboard Recommendations

Dave,

The majority of my sailing is done out of Gulfport FL. This summer we are
back here in NH and Serenity is on the hard and I am catching up on all
those little projects on her. We'll be returning to FL in October with a
stop in Edenton for some minor adjustments that are beyond my pay grade. I
too have explored the possibility of electric power(see archived
discussions). At this time and for my needs I don't think boat electric
power has developed enough to make it feasible for me. Thanks for sharing
your thoughts regarding ethanol. I too have often wondered why my snow
blower and lawn tractor have not suffered the same type of symptoms as 4
stroke outboards despite my minimal gas maintenance. What part of the
northeast are you from?

Fair winds,

>>ron<<
S/V Serenity
