 Hey Big Al,

This is a sailboat forum....forum being the key word.

fo·rum (fôr'əm, fōr'-) n

The public square or marketplace of an ancient Roman city that was the assembly place for judicial activity and public business.

A public meeting place for open discussion.

A medium for open discussion or voicing of ideas, such as a newspaper, a radio or television program, or a website.

A public meeting or presentation involving a discussion usually among experts and often including audience participation.

A court of law; a tribunal.

>From the Latin - foris or foras "out of doors, outside." Which is where we are free to go if we do not like the posts here on the Rhodes 22 list.

See also: The "delete key" on your keyboard.

I could say "Please do not burden my in-box with responses to posts over a year old or attempts to instill your will on this freely assembled group," but I would be a hypocrite. I can be an ass-h*le, but I am not a hypocrite.

I apologize to any I may have offended.

Todd T.

Hey guys,
The Rhodes website is supposed to be for sailboating. Don't burden our in -
boxes with your personal extraneous conversations etc. on things not of interest
to we sailors!! Please send your stuff to individual "E" addresses in the
future.

I am waiting for the next generation of tablets too. Apple seems to be
  arranging
for magazine subscriptions, books, etc all available from the itunes
  store. It
sounds like a more appealiing option.
