[Rhodes22-list] Boat Name Letter /Handheld GPS

Art,
Thanks, I took my radio in to West Marine for advice.  The radio actually
came with a cable for the 8 pin connector  that ends in 2 simple wires
labelled gps + and -
I imagine when I cut the serial port connector off the Magellan wire I will
find 2 similar wires and make the connection.
I was very confusing to see that 8 pin gizmo and really don't know what
purpose it has except that it comes with a rubber cap to seal it when the
gps is not used.  I wanted the VHF for boating Yellowstone Lake and Big Horn
Canyon where DSC was not available.
