[Rhodes22-list] To Deploy & Board An Inflatable from a Rhodes

The Garmin on my O'Day is the older version of what you have - a 76s.
B&W display, and no SD card. I load the maps into memory. I used it when
I crossed the Gulf of Mexico on a friend's Allied Princess, and have
used it numerous times up and down the Texas coast on on local lakes in
my O'Day. It's great. The charts are easy enough to read, and I was
surprised at the accuracy. The first time we sailed to the tip of Texas,
we had problems with our outboard. That put us behind schedule. So, we
had to sail into a strange marina, in the dark, with no motor. I
couldn't have done it without the GPS and the accurate charts it had in it.

I want to get a topographical card for this unit both for hiking and coastal navigation. There is an SD card that covers the entire US, and there are cards for specific areas; are the detail the same in both types?
