Ed,

I, for one, am glad that President Obama has "followed through" with his
promise. I hope he follows through with more. As a matter of fact, my
biggest disappointment with the man (other than he won) is that it
appears that he may move further right than what he was when he ran. I
want politicians to start doing what they say they'll do, and being the
people that they promised (or implied) they would be.

Maybe 4 years (or however long he lasts in office) of President Obama
doing the things he ran on will make some folks come to terms with what
we've tried to do as a nation, and how wrong we've gone.

Yeah, it will cost us. Sometimes I think we're like spoiled kids, whose
parents keep intervening for us so we don't have to pay the price for
what we've done.
