You're wise to be nervous.  You can get hurt if it gets away from you.
In addition to Rummy's and Mary Lou's comments and suggestions, you
probably want to watch the two videos on this web site.  They show
raising the IMF mast using the mast raising system.  Not the best video
and you'll need decent internet speed, but nothing like pictures to help
guide you. - rob

Rummy asked some good questions. The process is entirely different 
depending on IMF or non-IMF and whether or not you have the mast 
raising system which consists of a crane with a winch and and a 
crutch that fastens to the stern rail.

There is some information on a website that a former Rhodes owner

Much of it has to do with the mast hoist system which I'm assuming 
you don't have but there is some info on manual mast raising.
