Lee,

I had been thinking about using a pole for a while and picked one up at the
WM Spring Tent sale. After looking at picture #1, I wonder if it presents
too much lateral force at the attachment point. Does anyone know if the
sharp bend at the top of the swaged fitting damages the stay? Can I change
the attachment point to put less lateral force on the cable? Rummy, have
you seen any problems over time?
