We took delivery in March '81 and have sailed out of Kings Park (Nissequogue
River) for all these seasons. Shanghai'd Summer has been in the water for
all but 4 seasons due to either family obligations (birth of children),
building a house and one season when she was laid up for extended repairs.
We have trailered to other locations on LI (Hecksher State Park, Peconic
Bay, etc.) and sailed up and down, mostly, the north shore of LI and the
south shore of CT. There is much to see and do in the LI Sound. One must
make time for the things in life worth doing and sailing is one of them.

Enjoy your R22. Fair winds,

Mike
s/v Shanghai'd Summer ('81)
