[Rhodes22-list] Put your heads together

Hi, guys,
Here's a boat item...!
After the rain I found mega water in my boat....in the bilge & in the port side compartment at floor level. Deductive reasoning (ha) led me to think that there was a problem with the hole for the pennant. I found what appears to be a crack in the hole that the centerboard pennant leads through. Looking inside, I saw that a wooden support for under the companionway opening was wet....and so was the floor & the bilge was full. 
Here afe pix...what is the consensus...and will cleaning out the crack, opening it slightly  & caulking it w/ LifeCaulk or one of its cousins solve it or am I in for a lesson in fiberglass??
Here are photos; the last few are remnants of the storm...
