Chris
I spent a lot time finding the answer to that question for My
self.. I take the Genoa off and store it in my basement to me
that's a easy job .As for the mast , I think it puts a lot of
unnecessary were and tear on the chain plates and the cabin top . When
I picked up Shadow , She had a small leak in the cabin around the two
front Hatches .I removed the Chain Plat covers and refilled all of the
screw holes and around were the Chain Plates went into the Fiberglass
and that sopped most of that problem .
Lake Charlevoix and the Grand Traverse Bay area are on My short
list a of places to Sail and I can't forget the North Channel
  Bill

The 1st time it took about 1/2 hr with a little help . Try and do it when there is not a lot of wind , 2 or 3 people can handle the job . I just roll up IMF and Drop the mast, In order to take the main sail  off start taking thing' s apart .  I do not taken it apart  if I don't have to  . I just cover it with a tarp.   As for the battery's I charge them once or twice a winter , out of the Boat.
