[Rhodes22-list] Outboard repair question

Sorry for the non-response over the past week, but life happens.

So here's the update: I decided to rebuild the carb, on the advice of
various and sundry. I got home from work on Tuesday and had my best redneck
friend come over to watch over my shoulder and we rebuilt the carb. But the
carb was, to our eyes, very clean and probably didn't need to be rebuilt. So
when I started it up it ran a little better, but still cut out when I tried
to bring the throttle down to idle.

that's when I decided to seek professional help... So I took it down to a
boat yard not too far from and they are Evinrude dealers. I beg the guy to
get it back to me by tomorrow, but it's doubtful that is going to happen.

So here's a new question; What's the smallest OB you would use on a R22? A
friend of mine has a 4.5hp with a long shaft and he will loan it to me for
the weekend and I'm wondering if that's big enough.
