[Rhodes22-list] Wingnuts (not political)

Guys,

I think if you look in the archives, Stan is on record recommending the locking nut and not recommending the wing nut. Aircraft bolts utilize a cotter pin to help provide security against a nut loss. Even though I have never seen an aircraft bolt used in a mast application, look at Wicks A/C Supply (google for homepage) at their AN6-41 as a choice which is reasonably priced ~$2.00 and a wide choice of matching nuts. Their # is 800 221-9425. We don't want to lose our nuts, do we?
