Rummy,

The diamond board doesn't have the pivot pin passing through the trunk.  One
less thing to break and leak.

As for center board hulls from the 80's that Stan recycles, they probably
have other good things the diamond board hulls have.  Like glass stringers.

Stan, can you comment?
