[Rhodes22-list] If I can't fix the Rhodes, another sailboat for now?

Alex,
	I thought enough of the Rhodes I currently have that I drove from
Oregon to Baltimore for a boat about the same price as the one in Detroit.
My advice is to go for the Rhodes and not the O'Day.  My son learned to sail
on a Rhodes as a toddler and now sails all over the world.  I really think a
lot of that ability and love for sailing came from the kind of boat the
Rhodes is.  Oh, and get Stan's certificate it is worth it.

Hi,

I really am grateful for everyone's responses about my damages Rhodes, and I
hope I can keep it and repair it, but I am beginning to think that the
insurance company will not be very helpful, so we are considering our other
options. 

I have been browsing craigslist yesterday, and found a 74 Oday 22 in
apparently good condition with a trailer for about $2100 an hour away in CT.
Does anyone have any experience with that sailboat, or any other ideas for
good, inexpensive trailerable boats like the Rhodes?

I also saw a Rhodes 22 in detroit for $2750, no pictures, and a much longer
trip to pick it up. 

Any thoughts would be great,
