[Rhodes22-list] Bottom Paint

Are you saying to "strip" rather than sand the existing bottom paint off to get to the gel coat? ... Did I mention that the boat is a 1984 and the hull has been painted once? ,,,, do you think there would be a viable gel coat under the bottom paint that is worth living with rather than just sanding the existing bottom paint and painting with ??????
