[Rhodes22-list] Bottom Painter Puzzled (CHRIS)

Rob & all,

Looks as if I'm right in line w/the storm...I'm on a protected creek off the Potomac, but the storm most likely will push water up the Bay....the water backs up in the creeks...for Isabel, the water obscured even the tops of the dock pilings. My boat is OK as long as the water doesn't rise past the level of the dock (about 3 feet over high tide or so...)

I'm thinking of anchoring the boat out in the creek...but am unsure ...two anchors? set at 45deg??? Even if it goes aground it is only soft mud.....

Suggestions, please..
