So far Long Beach Island, NJ, where Irene came back ashore, everything ok on first reports. 4 Rhodes owners so far, 2 with boats in water, 2 out, all ok. Houses not so sure. As we're 1/4 mi. wide, ocean could have met bay with storm surge, but we ducked a bullet. Northwest winds from back end of storm blowing excess water out of bay through inlets.
Wonder how Stan survived???? Any word?
