I should say Hi again, I am not really a new member to the list, rejoined
after disconnecting for awhile, had e-mail spam woes, so unsubscribed to
everything, just never got around to re-subscribing.
I bought an old Rhodes Continental off of e-bay 3 years ago and have enjoyed
sailing her quite a bit ever since. We usually take her to the local lake
(greers ferry lake in AR) and camp out for the weekend, although sometimes
just for the day. We have also made numerous trips to the Florida panhandle,
sailing up and down the coast, mostly near Port St Joe. We (wife, daughter,
her friend) are planning a Bahamas trip in May, if anyone is going to be
going that way, I would love to have any sailing companions. When I got the
boat, she didn't have a pop top, just a pipe frame with sign canvass
stretched over it, which keeps out most of the rain, but you cannot "pop" it
up and have it stay out of the way.I don't have the money to buy a new one ,
so I am planning to build a "pop top" roof for her and am looking for some
good pictures to use as a plan outline. as well as measurements of anyone's
current cover (length, width, height, thickness of fiberglass etc...)

Thanks,
Carl Geisser
