[Rhodes22-list] Mast Step Popped

This discussion has been very helpful and enlightening. I am just ready to
put the stringers in so the floor can be replaced so I can make a bulkhead
and put the reinforcements on and above it to support the mast and transfer
the load to the keel. There is a concrete ballast piece on the fiberglass
hull the floor stringers will sit on the concrete and the load will be
transferred to the hull through the concrete. Does that sound correct?
What size vertical timber is under the mast step plate that attaches to the
bulk head to support the mast?

Rick,

I used this stuff on a different boat and it worked really well. Depends on
how bad the rot is.
