[Rhodes22-list] Interior finish

I am in the middle of a few wood finishing projects. I recently ordered 1/2"
teak and holy plywood and cut out several pieces from a pattern for my new
cabin sole. I gave all the cut pieces a light sanding, dusted off and
applied a coat of Interlux Wood Sealer both top and bottom. I plan to give
the first coat a light sanding and repeat several times before applying a
bunch of coats of two part Interlux Perfection Plus poly.

Along with the deck sole project I decided to give my three year old
unfinished interior wood a little lift. I have started with the anchor road
locker, two storage drawers and table top applying Starbrite Teak Cleaner,
then Starbrite Teak Brightener followed by numerous coats of Starbrite
Premium Teak Oil to be followed by Minwax Paste Finsishing Wax.

Some, including Stan, would probably think this is a waste of time when the
original wood could just age fine all on it's own but I sort of enjoy
something to do in the off season.

I am not exactly a competent handyman but am having fun figuring out all
this wood finishing stuff. The next step is to apply the cleaner,
brightener, oil and wax to the remainder of the interior cabin wood. The
balance of the interior wood work will need to wait until the weather warms
up and I have time to make the 45 minute trip to the marina since living in
the city doesn't allow instant access to a trailer boat arrangement in the
driveway.

Photos of the final product to follow assuming I can make it to the finish
line.
