That is interesting.  The lake I sail on (Claytor Lake in Virginia) is not a NDZ.  I guess I just assumed the whole state was a NDZ while in fact only three areas of the state are designated NDZs. -  rob

Depending on where you are they could be of a lot of use.  For example most of the Chesapeake is not a NDZ.  See http://water.epa.gov/polwaste/vwd/vsdnozone.cfm for details on your state.
