[Rhodes22-list] Outboard motor setup

I have the Yamaha 9.9 Long Shaft with the GB tiller-to-motor option. I love
this option as it affords great control within the marina. The outboard
tiller is used in the vertical position and the throttle control is fairly
accessible in this position. The shift lever is mounted on the outboard
tiller and is a little cumbersome but I make do. I prefer to enter my slip
making a hard turn to port (I am on the port side of the boat) because that
puts the outboard tiller closer to me so I can reach the shift lever
without too much trouble. If I am making a hard turn to starboard I need to
plan very carefully.

I would love some sort of remote control for the throttle and shift lever
and may try to implement one in the future. If both of these controls could
be mounted on the Rhodes tiller that would be perfect.
