Thanks for the info on your chain plates. Am I understanding you correctly
that have a wood core on the cabin sides or are you referring to the cabin
top? What year is your boat?

The chain plates are Rondstan RF-47 from Jamestown Distributors.

This was my first peek into the guts of the cabin top. I think the
construction and design of it was very good for way back then. The liner
adds stiffness I think. As long as the wood core not rotted it's pretty
solid.
