Ron,

Sorry about your mishap.  And it brings back memories.

If you don't have a workbench vice, ask someone who does to straighten out
the mast step.  There's lots of advice on the list for remounting the mast
step.

You might want to try out the IMF before raising the mast next spring.  Or
remove the sail and visually check the interior channel for the sail to be
sure the dents don't intrude.
