[Rhodes22-list] HOW DO YOU SAIL SINGLEHANDED?

As it seems I am getting older...I am more cautious... Used to sail a lot on
Long Island Sound, solo, and never thought twice about falling over....and
that was in 60-100 feet of water..not that that really matters seeing I'm
only 5'2"....   :) 
But as of late my knees are getting unpredictable thanks to 30 years of
roofing and 32 years of teaching, on my feet all day... So now I always suit
up in a brightly colored PFD and choose my motions about the boat carefully,
even tho the Great South is rarely over 10 feet deep. Also when sitting on
rails aft of the cabin make sure I have a good grip on cabin handholds.
Going forward when necessary, the Rhodes has plenty to hold on to. Stan and
company really built us a great boat.
