[Rhodes22-list] Sailing Withdrawals

They definitely do!  Ours gets sad if we go more than a week without getting her out for a romp on the water!

In Florida we can pretty much sail year round so come on down.

Seeing these sad pictures of boats shivering under plastic covers in
subfreezing conditions brings to mind a debate I have been having with my
wife for years about whether boats have feelings. She thinks they don't. On
the other hand she is not the one who brings the boat back to life each
spring with care, cleaning and tender affection nor is she there to see the
utter happiness Agile  experiences when launched. Neither does my wife see
the sad look of resignation when Agile is hauled out in the fall and covered
for the long hard winter.   I keep making these observations but my wife
thinks she knows better just because she is a psychologist. I think that
with that professional background she should recognize feelings when they
show themselves.
So, fellow Rhodes owners, is there any of you out there who doubts that
boats have feelings?
