Richard,

Now that picture is worth at least 2000 words.  I totally agree on the virtues of a tandem trailer, although more difficult to maneuver.  I had to change a tire once on I75, north of Atlanta.  Like, never again!  Many trailers are not galvenized, even some rims - just risky business...

When I found my R22 it had been standing in a country storage yard for
seven years, so I had to replace all 4 tires. This would have cost me more
than I paid for the boat so I "nickeled and dimed" and bought 2 new and 2
used that looked good and one spare. Needless to say the older ones had
rotted away and they are the ones that failed. Moral of the story....don't
skimp on the tires.

Her's a pic of my boat when I found her - she had been open to the elements
for 7 years !!!
