When I took my Rhodes22 it took about 12 hours give or take. It really depends on how much you want to sail it vs. motor.

Susan,

In a Rhodes 22?

In our 26 foot center console Robalo with twin 300 Mercury's, it took less than an hour;)

It is roughly 45 miles west of Miami.

With the Gulf Stream, the route will be slightly longer--~65 miles. We will have to leave further south in order to compensate for the strong push north. I'm thinking we might leave around Key Largo.

Cheers,
Ted
