Hi Ted,

New and direct sales recycled Rhodes guarantees are good forever - for 
owners in good standing; and for as long as I am standing good.   So for 
the moment you are free to have added "Stan ?"

However:   If one reads that written guarantee one will note that, like 
most other boat builders, when it comes to leakage guarantees, they do 
not cover leaks /above the water line/.

But, as long as you have drawn me away from the project that puts food 
on our table, let me add the shocking news that misinformation does leak 
into the Rhodes22-List chatting.

A recent comment that there is always chatter about Rhodes leaking cb 
caps is absolutely misleading - for two reasons.  One is that boats 
having the factory approved neoprene lifetime reusable gasket non 
sealant system, can't leak.  And two is our confession (not to be posted 
on the List) that if we find a boat at the plant that is bone dry, we 
keep it.

With my interest these days in distilled water I have drastically cut 
back on my pro bono brackish water time, but Ted is an exception:  So, 
having turned medically oriented these days, I have to ask a leading 
question before my Rx.  Does the /above the water line leak/ occur when 
it is raining or when the boat is being sailed with the rail under water?
