Hello Bob,

I have never pulled a Rhodes on a double axle trailer, but have had two
single axle trailers.  I pull with a Toyota Tacoma and half the time I don't
know the boat is back there.  The big difference for me is when I upgraded
to my current trailer with brakes.  The brakes made a big difference in how
the truck handled the load.  I would look for a tailer with brakes before
worrying about the second axle.
