Guys,

I am surprised to see no mention of the Fla Gulf Coast as a new port option. Having enjoyed most of the reasonable home port options, I would suggest a close look at this locale anywhere between Panama City and Mobile. I would challenge anyone to find any better beaches or sailing venue. Mostly clear of the bug zone, esp ' love bugs', still has some winter cold wx. I can expand on this suggestion.

Happy New Year to all, esp to a recovering Rummy, buddy!
