Bob,
On my 88 model the lazzerette is water tight. I would recommend sealing it
with either fiberglass or using a good caulk.

Hello all,

Repair help requested please?

Our families '84 R22 is currently on its trailer (in our driveway). During
a recent rain storm, the P/S bench drains became clogged with leaves and
the water overflowed into the lazarette. The water was high enough in the
lazarette to move forward and soak the carpet in the cabin. I bailed her out
to find I'm lacking water tight integrity at a point on port side in the
lazarettes bulkhead. I can watch the water drain, fwd to aft, thru the port
side bulkhead, at the base of the lazarette?
What's recommended by the list? Fiberglass repair? Puddy repair? Other?

Thanks in advance,
Bob
